Welcome to our next Make Along. I am super excited as we are going to be focusing on an incredible range of garments that I have wanted to make for a long time - actually since Ally Pally 2023! I chatted to a lovely customer enjoying the yarn dive and she was wearing the most stunning sweater, the Cloud Blouse by PetiteKnit, a simple shape in a beautiful yarn. It has been floating around my head ever since.
There are five patterns; the Cloud Top, Cloud Blouse, Cloud Tee, Cloud Sweater and the Cloud Sweater Junior. All are knitted using different yarns but with the same overall techniques. I’ve swatched lots of different yarns for this Make Along, read our blog post for my recommendations. However, make sure you do your own swatching - you may knit to a different tension to me.
One of the benefits of knitting top down and in-the-round is that you can try it on for length and fit as you go. You may want to treat yourself to some PetiteKnit Stitch Holder Cords to do this, or simply thread spare yarn through your stitches. Whilst we are talking about PetiteKnit accessories, how about a cute label for your garment. It's a great finishing touch!
