Yarn Food Sock Wash is expertly designed for knitters to effectively clean, nourish and preserve hand-knit socks so that they last you longer.
Tea tree oil has a crisp and clean note which subtly enhances your spirits as you go about your day feeling refreshed from head to toe.
In addition to the gentle no-rinse formula, the added antimicrobial tea tree oil is a natural antidote to bacteria, fungi and odour, while lanolin feeds moisture back into the fibres. This way your socks will stay fresh, fluffy and in shape for longer.
How To Use Sock Wash
Hand wash: Fill a sink or basin with one gallon, or 4.5 litres, of cold or lukewarm water. Add 3 pumps (5 ml) of Yarnfood Sock Wash and soak your socks for 20 minutes. Gently remove from the water, squeeze without wringing, and roll up in a towel to squeeze the remaining water out. Lay out flat or block to dry.
Machine wash: Suitable for regular or HE machines. Add 9 pumps (15ml) into detergent drawer or directly into the machine. Wash on wool or delicate cycle following your yarn’s care instructions.
