Intarsia Colourwork Knitting Workshop with tutor, Anniken Allis
Friday 12th March 2027 | 10.15am - 4.15pm
Intarsia colour work knitting is a technique that allows you to knit pictures or abstract designs. Two or more colours are used in each row and the colours are never stranded across the back of the work, as they are in Fair Isle knitting (stranded knitting). You will learn how to knit with two or more colours per row, how to manage several colours without getting in a tangle, how to read intarsia charts.
Please bring: 3.75mm or 4mm knitting needles
Skills needed: Confident basic knitting skills: knit, purl, cast on and cast off.
