Welcome to our latest Make Along, The Perfect Raglan by Linda Skuja. This is a beautiful top-down, crochet sweater pattern incorporating design features more commonly featured in contemporary knitting patterns such as PetiteKnit.
The Perfect Raglan is a top-down crochet sweater with short-row neck shaping, seamless joined rounds and a distinctive square-shaped neckline. The relaxed fit, tapered sleeves and simple ribbed cuffs make it a modern take on a wardrobe classic.
The pattern is written in US crochet terms but we have included a printable conversion pdf to make this easier, and it is classed as an intermediate level pattern. It comes in nine sizes, with instructions for a range of bust measurements.
As always with a Black Sheep MAL we will be holding your hand along the way and blog post to read before you start, plus we’ll be sharing updates on both Instagram and in our Facebook Make Along group. Whether you’ve crocheted a garment before or this is your first, it’ll be a lovely project to pick up as the days get cooler.
The cast on for the MAL is Monday 9th November over on our Facebook Page, giving us something lovely to lose ourselves in as the madness of Christmas starts to take hold! In the meantime, have a look through the shades and start imagining your perfect raglan!
