Yarn Bombing in Lymm, Cheshire

Back in June I was sent some fabulous photographs of yarn bombing that took place in Lymm, Cheshire. Mary, who organised the event is part of a knitting group based in Lymm.  As you can see from the photographs it was a big job organising all of the pieces, this had to be done late on Friday when the butcher had finished for the day. The yarn bombing event coincided with Lymm historical transport day which took place on the Saturday. The butchers who kindly allowed the yarn bombing to take place was Hopkinsons. So if you are ever dropping by, be sure to mention the yarn bombing.

All of the 'meaty' items look brilliant. The kebabs and sausages have to be my favourites I think. The attention to detail is amazing, there is even knitted meat going through the mincer. Thank you so much Mary for letting us in on your yarn bombing antics.

If you are ever planning a yarn bombing event or spot some whilst out and about please share photos. Send them to amy@blacksheepwools.com.
