My Knitting Intentions for early 2025 - Sara

Believe it or not I do try and plan my knitting and crochet. I am passionate about my crafts but I also need to bear in mind that it's a business so I have to try and spread the love. I need to knit yarns from a variety of companies at a variety of price points. It helps us ensure that we always provide you with the best selection of yarns possible.

I thought it might be fun to have a look at what ‘Knitting Intentions’ I have for the next few months. I will warn you I am eternally optimistic about what I will achieve. Plus I’m sure I’ll get tempted by make alongs and new designs along the way. It also doesn’t include any WIPS or UFO’s, otherwise they’ll be too many to mention!

Petite Knit

We are now proud stockists of the Petite Knit printed patterns and I have looked through them all so many times and fallen in love with most of them. However the one that I have really fallen for is the Vertical Stripes Sweater. It is knitted bottom up in a mohair yarn, and is a super shape that will be easy to throw on. I am going to substitute the yarn for Fyberspates Cumulus – I need to check the tension but I think it will work out.

Stylecraft Special XL Cardigan

I love this new bright and vibrant Special XL collection and this boxy cardigan is a real knockout. In bright pink, orange and yellow you will certainly see me coming! It is knitted on 10mm needles so should take no time at all.

Mosaic Crochet Jumper

This has been in my to do pile for ages the Mosaic jumper by Nomad Stitches and I think it’s time. I haven’t crocheted a garment for a while and I think this would look lovely in King Cole Merino Blend 4 ply. It is a bit of a project as it looks quite complicated but I can’t get it out of my head!

Will I get them all finished – watch this space!
