Yarn Food Wool Wash is expertly designed for yarn crafters to clean, nourish and preserve wool and animal-fibre yarns and their blends naturally.
The subtle, essential oil based lavender fragrance makes your knit or crocheted items smell clean and fresh without overpowering the senses.
With added lanolin the natural no-rinse formula feeds moisture back into your wool- and animal fibre yarnments made from merino, cashmere, mohair or alpaca yarns and their blends. This way your items will stay soft, in shape and last you longer.
How To Use Wool Wash
Fill a sink or basin with one gallon, or 4.5 litres, of cold or lukewarm water. Add 3 pumps (5 ml) of Yarn Food Wool Wash and soak your garment for 20 minutes. Gently remove from the water, squeeze without wringing, and roll up in a towel to squeeze the remaining water out. Lay flat or block to dry.
Washing machine: Suitable for regular or HE machines. Add 9 pumps (15ml) into detergent drawer or directly into the machine. Wash on wool or delicate cycle following your yarn’s care instructions.
