Custom Colourwork Hat Knitting Workshop with tutor, Kate Heppell
Saturday 11th July 2026 | 10.15am - 4.15pm
Learn the secrets to creating your perfect stranded colourwork beanie or beret, including how to pick your palette, combine or design your own motifs and mastering a neat and professional finish.
In this workshop, Kate will lead you through a choose-your-own-adventure pattern, which you can customise as much or as little as you like.
You will need to bring 4mm DPNs or circulars (your preferred method for working in the round), scissors, notebook and pencil.
Skills needed: Knit and purl
There are 10 places on this workshop.
What's Included?
- Yarn, refreshments and lunch will be provided on the day. The workshop takes place at the Black Sheep Craft Barn in Warrington.
Email specific dietary requirements to customerservice@blacksheepwools.com at least 7 days prior to the workshop. Amendments after this date are chargeable.

N.B. Sometimes due to circumstances beyond our control workshops and events may be cancelled. At which point the cost of your workshop will be fully refunded. We cannot be held liable for any travel costs incurred.
Please note: All cancellations incur a £10 admin fee and if you cancel within 14 days of the workshop, you will be charged the full cost.
