Yarn Cocktails🍹with Rico Make It Blumchen and Stylecraft Naturals Bamboo Cotton DK
A cone of Rico Make It Blumchen is just what you need to add dreamy sequins to your next knitting or crochet project. The tiny floral sequins majestically catch the light as you move. Creating a veil of very subtle sparkle. The yarn is so fine it won't add any bulk to the yarn you are working with, so there really is no excuse for adding Make It Blumchen into your knitting.
When Black Sheep Lorraine came to work wearing her Blumchen hand knit we were all mesmerised, swooning over this magical piece of knitting. Previously Sara had paired Blumchen with Rowan Kidsilk Haze for a Wavelength scarf. Seeing it paired with a smoother spun yarn and in a garment as opposed to an accessory is completely different. Lorraine knitted Stylecraft Naturals Bamboo and Cotton DK with Rico Creative Make It Blumchen for her Ranunculus sweater by Midori Hirose (Ravelry). Watch the jumper sparkle as Lorraine twirls on Instagram.

This sparked Sara's idea to knit herself one of the Stylecraft patterns with this yarn cocktail. Sara has paired up a selection of shades of Stylecraft Naturals Bamboo and Cotton DK with Rico Make It Blumchen. Take a look below at her matches. If you do choose one of these combinations then please share your knitting with us, we would love to see. Join our Facebook Make Along group.
