Colour twist creates a random pattern effect as you knit. This is because the individual plys are separately dyed and then twisted to give this subtle multitonal effect and lovely textured look to cardigans, jackets, sweaters and accessories by using a range of textured stitches like basket weave, cabling, lace and moss stitch.
