Filet Crochet Workshop with tutor, Anniken Allis
Friday 24th April 2026 | 10.15am - 4.15pm
Learn modern filet crochet and how it can be used to create a variety of items. Filet crochet uses a mesh grid and a few simple stitches to create an open lace fabric which imitates filet lace. Open and closed blocks are combined to create a variety of pictoral designs. Filet crochet can be used to create a variety of crocheted items including scarves, cowls, table clothes, blankets/bed spreads, garments and more.
You will need to bring 4mm crochet hook
Skills needed: Confident basic crochet skills: chains, double crochet and treble crochet (UK crochet terms).
There are 10 places on this workshop.
What's Included?
- Yarn, refreshments and lunch will be provided on the day. The workshop takes place at the Black Sheep Craft Barn in Warrington.
