Beyond Basics of Crochet Workshop with tutor, Marianne from Penny Stitch Craft
Saturday 13th June 2026 | 10.15am - 4.15pm
This workshop is designed to extend your crochet skills and help you widen your creative choices.
Learn to crochet in rounds to make circles and square motifs, and use your stitches in more imaginative ways, to create fun textures or visual effects, using basket weave, front and back post trebles, overlay methods and decorative surface chain stitch.
We will also look at joining and finishing techniques.
These can be used to make a bag or small cushion cover.
This an ideal follow on from the Beginner crochet course or for people who know the basics and are looking to progress further.
Bring a selection of crochet hooks sizes, 3.5, 4, 4.5, 5mm, scissors and stitch markers.
There are 10 places on this workshop.
What's Included?
- Yarn, refreshments and lunch will be provided on the day. The workshop takes place at the Black Sheep Craft Barn in Warrington.

N.B. Sometimes due to circumstances beyond our control workshops and events may be cancelled. At which point the cost of your workshop will be fully refunded. We cannot be held liable for any travel costs incurred.
