Staff Project: PetiteKnit Amelie Tee

PetiteKnit patterns are hot right now amongst Black Sheep staff. We are currently running our Anker's make along, seeing so many incredible Anker's Summer Shirt patterns coming to fruition in our Facebook group.
This isn't the first PetiteKnit pattern Black Sheep Barbara has knitted. Barbara did dabble with the idea of making an Anker's for herself and then settled on making an Amelie Tee. That Sandnes Garn Sunday yarn was talking to her! Let's see how she got on with her latest finished project.

Pattern name: PetiteKnit Amelie Tee
Yarn: Sandnes Garn Sunday
Shade number / name: 3091 Cacao Nibs / 9581 Pine
What size did you make? Large

How did you find the pattern? Did you make any adjustments?
Fab pattern - really easy to understand. I had to use a smaller needle so my finished size was actually a ‘Medium’.

Have you used this yarn before? How did you find it?
Never used it before, absolutely loved it!

What is your opinion of this yarn?
I’d say it is a fine 4ply and I needed to make sure my tension was consistent - top quality yarn.

Would you recommend the pattern to someone else? Would you make it again?
Yes and yes! I think I would go for a mix of the shades ‘Whipped’ and ‘Pineapple’.

Describe the fit of your finished garment
Love it, I wouldn’t change a thing.

How do you plan to wear your new garment? How will you style it?
Everyday forever! I’ll layer it up in the colder months with a shirt and scarf.

What do you plan to make next?
Oh my word! Not sure, maybe the ‘Ida Tee’ from PetiteKnit.
