Staff Project: Neck Warmer in James C Brett Marble Chunky

Sara's project for the weekend, knitted in James C Brett Marble Chunky. It takes just one ball to make this quick knit.

Pattern: JB838
Yarn: James C Brett Marble Chunky
Shade number: MC11
Size: One Size

How did you find the pattern? Did you make any adjustments?
The pattern was great, easy to follow and really quick to make. I cast-on on Friday night and cast off on Sunday morning. However, I didn’t do a tension square and wish I had. There is no finished length on the pattern but I think mine has come out shorter than it looks on the photo. If I was to make it again I would make it slightly longer by knitting more rows before the first set of decreases.

Have you used this yarn before? How did you find it?
Marble Chunky is such a lovely yarn. I used it last winter to crochet a blanket so Ialready knew it was easy to use. It feels soft to touch and is well made. I didn’t find any knots in the ball I used.
The colours are fabulous. You can be bright if you like or go for a more subtle tone like I did this time with the monochrome shade.

Would you recommend the pattern to someone else? Would you make it again?
I don’t have a great track record of finishing items I make for a second time, so probably not. But only because of this. It is a fab pattern, so wearable. I think it would make a perfect present. I would certainly recommend it and I can see some people making loads!

Anything else you would like to say about it? Think I’ve said enough!
