Which yarn should I choose?
Firstly, you need to decide on what you would like to knit and who for and whether you would like something easy or something a bit more challenging. Once all of this has been decided then you need to choose a pattern. We strongly recommend that you use the same knitting yarn that the pattern recommends.

Most of our yarn comes under the UK yarn weight categories ie, 2 ply, 3 ply, 4 ply, DK, Aran, Chunky, Super Chunky.

Although most yarn is made outside of the UK, we now stock a knitting yarn range from Rowan Yarns called British Sheep Breeds which includes wool from Bluefaced Leicester, Black Welsh, Jacob, Suffolk, Shetland, Dark Grey Welsh and Masham.

All knitting yarns are different and it's just a matter of trying and testing to see which one you prefer to knit with.
