Week 1 Wigshaw Lane - A Day Out Knit Along Blanket by Sarah Hatton - Twist stitch knitting tutorial

The first pattern of our first ever knit along has arrived. Week 1 of A Day Out KAL by Sarah Hatton is called Wigshaw Lane. A lane in Culcheth which is very close to the Craft Barn. Sara has been out and about, like a roving news reporter, filming a video to share a little bit of history on the lane.

Sarah Hatton has designed a pretty twisted stitch pattern over a 10 row repeat. Once you get the hang of the dropped stitch on row 9 you will be off on your way to knitting a beautiful square for block 1. 
To help you along the way this week we have a superb knitting tutorial from Lynne Rowe. Lynne will be filming various videos over the coming weeks. These will be shared on our YouTube channel.
