Learn to Hand Dye Yarn Morning Workshop with Miriam Ward
Friday 21st April 2023 | 9.30am - 12.30pm
Experience dyeing your own skein of yarn with independent dyer Miriam, from The Discrete Unicorn
This is a half day workshop in which Miriam will show you how to prepare yarn for dyeing, different dyeing techniques, heat setting the dye and rinsing.
You will be able to choose the yarn weight you would like to dye from 4ply through to chunky yarns and will be able to take your hand dyed skein home with you to knit, crochet or weave with.
There are 6 places on this workshop.
What's included?
- A 100g hank of yarn and dyes. All you need to bring is an apron or wear clothes you wouldn't mind getting a splash of dye on.
- Biscuits and refreshments will be provided.
- A special 10% discount voucher. This can be used once in store, exclusions include workshops, Scheepjes, gift cards and colour packs.
- Once purchased you will receive a letter explaining more about the day. Letters will be sent out nearer to the workshop date.
N.B. Sometimes due to circumstances beyond our control workshops and events may be cancelled. At which point the cost of your workshop will be fully refunded. We cannot be held liable for any travel costs incurred.
Please note if you choose to make a cancellation within 7 days of the event, you will still be charged.
