Learn to Crochet Workshop with Carol Meldrum.
Saturday 14th October 2023 | 10am - 4pm
If you are new to crochet or need a refresher, this workshop is for you. It is suitable for complete beginners and for those who already knit or sew or have previously tried the basics of crochet.
This workshop is aimed at the complete beginner or those who wish to brush up on their crochet skills. On the day you will work on a crochet sampler, working through holding the hook and yarn, the basic stitches (foundation chain, double crochet, treble crochet) and changing colour. This will all be put together in the afternoon to create a simple yet effective crochet corsage.
Carol is not only a workshop tutor she is also a textile designer and published author. Carol is the author of several titles including ‘Easy Crochet Accessories, Love Crochet’ and ‘Knitlympics’.
There are 10 places on this workshop.

- Yarns & crochet hooks are provided and together with the supporting written materials, with all of these new skills and knowledge you will be able to begin your crochet journey full of ideas and inspiration.
- Refreshments and lunch will be provided on the day.

- Once purchased you will receive a letter explaining more about the day. Letters will be sent out nearer to the workshop date.
N.B. Sometimes due to circumstances beyond our control workshops and events may be cancelled. At which point the cost of your workshop will be fully refunded. We cannot be held liable for any travel costs incurred.
Please note if you choose to make a cancellation within 7 days of the event, you will still be charged.
