Freeform Crochet Workshop with tutor, Carol Meldrum
Thursday 26th September 2024 | 10.15am - 4.15pm
This workshop is all about breaking the rules and going freeform with your crochet. Learn the basics of this technique and build your confidence mixing up stitches, colour and texture as you go. On the day we will work through a selection of motifs taking organic shapes and building them into a square, that can be joined together to make a larger cushion panel or single length for a scarf or cowl.
Skills Carol will aim to cover in the class working basic stitches, working in the round, changing colour, increasing and decreasing, creating corners and joining motifs together.
You will need to bring
1 x 3.5mm or 4mm hook, safety pins or locking stitch markers, scissors and yarn needle
There are 10 places on this workshop.
