Fair Isle / Stranded Colour Work Knitting Workshop with tutor, Anniken Allis
Friday 12th September 2025 | 10.15am - 4.15pm
Learn how to knit the ‘Love Hearts’ or ‘Diamonds are forever’ stranded cushion: learn how to knit in the round holding one colour in each hand, how to strand the yarn and achieve perfect tension, how to sew up the cushion using mattress stitch and one row button holes.
This class is suitable for knitters new to stranded colour work or knitters who already know how to knit stranded colour work but want to improve their skills.
You will need to bring: 3.5mm 60cm long circular needles (you may wish to bring 4mm and 3.5mm needles as well, in case you need a different needle size to achieve correct tension), stitch marker and blunt sewing needle.
Skills needed: How to cast on, cast off, knit and purl.
There are 10 places on this workshop.

N.B. Sometimes due to circumstances beyond our control workshops and events may be cancelled. At which point the cost of your workshop will be fully refunded. We cannot be held liable for any travel costs incurred.
Please note: All cancellations incur a £10 admin fee and if you cancel within 14 days of the workshop, you will be charged the full cost.
