Brioche Knitting Workshop with tutor, Carol Meldrum.
Friday 2nd February 2024 | 10am - 4pm
This workshop is all about exploring brioche knitting. It's all about slipping stitches and carrying yarn over the top of the needle, then once a few rows have been worked catching together the stitch and the yarn that's been carried to create the brioche effect. All yarn is included.
We will work through a small sample fabric to get to grips with the techniques used, then cast on to make a wonderful reversible cowl in the round.
You will need to bring a 5mm 60cm or 80cm circular needle, scissors, stitch marker and sewing up needle. Yarn will be provided.
There are 10 places on this workshop.
