Beaded Crochet Flowers PM Workshop with tutor, Jane Crowfoot
Wednesday 14th June 2023 | 1.30pm - 4.30pm
Beaded crochet is a beautifully effective technique that is much simpler than you imagine. There is no need to learn any new stitches as the beads are threaded onto your yarn and then simply added into your crochet at certain stages of the stitch to create lovely effects.
During this workshop Jane will guide you through making a relatively simple beaded flower motif that includes beads added into the following stitches: double crochet, half treble crochet and treble crochet. Jane will also show you how to add beads to a chain stitch and double treble crochet. Jane will help you understand written instructions and talk you through charted designs too.
You will need to bring: a 3mm, 3.5mm and 4mm crochet hook and a notebook and pen/pencil. A small sewing kit including scissors, a knitter’s sewing needle, and a fine sewing needle and thread is also required.
Skill level: This is a 3-hour long workshop aimed at crocheters who have a basic knowledge of stitches and techniques.
There are 10 places on this workshop.
