Learn to Knit Socks with Christine Perry aka Blogger Winwick Mum

Wednesday 13th September - Wednesday 27th September 2017 | 9.30am - 12.30pm

Learn to knit a pair of socks over three weeks! From casting on to finishing off, we will cover every aspect of creating your own beautiful pair of hand-knit socks.

Each week, we will look at a different aspect of the creation of a sock:

Week 1 – choosing needles and yarn, sock sizing, the cast on, cuff and leg
Week 2 – creating the heel flap, turning the heel and making the gusset
Week 3 – the foot, the toes and creating a seam-free toe with Kitchener stitch

Dates as follows: Wednesday 13th September 2017, Wednesday 20th September 2017, Wednesday 27th September 2017 from 9.30am – 12.30pm

Christine Perry has been knitting socks for many years. Through her blog, 'Winwick Mum', she has taught people from all over the world to knit socks for themselves, and is confident that you too can master the art of hand-knitting for your feet!

You must be able to knit and purl and know how to cast on.

Each attendee will be given a 100g ball of sock knitting yarn.

You will receive a special 10% discount voucher. This can be used once in store off any purchases.

Refreshments and pastries will be available during the session.

Once purchased you will receive a letter explaining more about the day.
