Beginners Tapestry Crochet Workshop with tutor, Carol Meldrum.
Thursday 18th May 2023 | 10am - 4pm
This technique is all about using 2 colours on the same row or round to create a pattern that has a similar appearance to intarsia or stranded knitting. We will work through the basics of the technique learning how to read a crochet colour chart, change colour and to carry the yarn along catching it in as we go to make a patterned project.
You will need to bring a 3mm crochet hook and a locking stitch marker.
Skill level: all participants must understand basic crochet stitches.
