Intarsia Knitting Design a Motif Workshop with tutor, Carol Meldrum.
Saturday 4th November 2023 | 10am - 4pm
This workshop is all about dipping into the world of design. Taking our inspiration from plants and flowers, thinking about shape, scale and colour to create your own intarsia motif designs. On the day we will look at how to plot out a knitting chart, prepare for an intarsia design and how to work the intarsia technique.
You will need to bring 1 x pair of 3.75mm needles, 1 x pair of 4mm needles, pencil and rubber, ruler.
Skill level: This workshop is suitable for those who can knit and purl with ease.
