Learn Tapestry Crochet Workshop with tutor, Carol Meldrum.
Friday 19th May 2023 | 10am - 4pm
Get creative and play about with stitches to create a floral and fauna inspired hanging wreath. With a selection of knit and crochet nature inspired elements, pick and choose to make your own individual design. This workshop is for knitters or crocheters!
We will look at colour and composition, along with mixing and matching up shapes that are balanced. Think about whether less is more or go all in depending on your style, and how to construct a hanging wreath.
You will need to bring
For crochet: 3mm and 4mm hook, yarn needle, locking stitch markers (optional).
For knit: 1 x pair of 3.25mm double pointed needles, 1 x pair of 4 mm double pointed needles (for i-cord), yarn needle, locking stitch markers (optional).
If you are going to be knitting and crocheting bring both.
Skill level: all participants must understand basic crochet stitches or knitting stitches. If you choose to knit the pieces rather than crochet.
There are 10 places on this workshop.
