Fair Isle Hat Knitting Workshop Workshop with tutor, Carol Meldrum.
Thursday 12th October 2023 | 10am - 4pm
The hat is worked from the bottom up, it's knitted in the round but can be adapted to rows depending on your knitting style. The 2 x 2 rib can be lengthened by adding more rows, as can the main section of the hat. With the fair isle bands, you can change the order they are worked to make the design your own.
You will need to bring 4.5mm, 5mm and 6mm 40cm circular needles or DPN's, locking stitch marker, and sewing up yarn needle. If you have long circulars then you can use the magic loop technique.
Skill level: This workshop is suitable for those who can knit and purl with ease.
