Making A Purchase
Browse the store and add items you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished shopping, click on 'checkout' and you will then be able to make payment via Credit / Debit card or Pay Pal.
If you are shopping from outside of the UK, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency at the current exchange rate.
Please note that choosing the wrong country may result in incorrect shipping or VAT charges being applied to your order. We reserve the right to adjust your order after it has been submitted if you choose the wrong location from the list of countries when placing your order.
Once your order has been placed you should receive an order acknowledgement, providing you specified a valid email address at the time of placing your order. Please note that this email is merely an acknowledgement that your order has been received by us. Orders can only be classed as accepted by us once they have been delivered. In the unlikely event that your order contained items that were incorrectly priced by us we reserve the right to adjust your order when it is received by us. We will endeavour to notify you of this prior to the order being adjusted.
Orders placed can not be amended.
Shipping And Handling
Items ordered from Black Sheep Wools Ltd will be delivered as soon as possible in accordance to the requested delivery service.
- Shipping in the UK: £2.50 per order (Free shipping on all UK orders over £25)
- Shipping to the EU: £5.00 per order
- Shipping to Rest of the World: £10.00 per order
Every effort is made to ensure that delivery is within a maximum of 7 working days for orders in the UK. Please allow for extra delivery time for any orders outside of the UK. All goods are subject to availability. In the event that we are unable to supply your goods within 28 days, we will inform you immediately and advise you of the expected delivery date.
Please allow 7 working days for delivery before contacting us to chase your order.
All products are delivered either by courier or by post, depending on their size and value. On rare occasions different products in the same order may be delivered separately.
International customers please note: If your parcel exceeds 2kg, we reserve the right to amend shipping charges. If this applies to you we will contact you at the earliest opportunity.
We will normally send your order to you within 7 business days. International orders are generally received within 10 days.
If your item is not in stock, we will order the item for you. This means that there may be a slight delay in getting your order to you. You will be contacted should this apply to you.
- You can redeem your Black Sheep Wools Gift Card at The Black Sheep Craft Barn, online at www.blacksheepwools.com or over the phone.
- If card is to be redeemed in the The Black Sheep Craft Barn the silver panel MUST be intact and still covering the code.
- If card is to be redeemed online or over the phone please scratch off the silver panel and use the code where the gift card payment option is available at the online checkout.
- Treat your card like cash. Lost or stolen cards cannot be replaced.
- You can check your Black Sheep Wools Gift Card balance by phoning 01925 764231 option 1 or via your online account by clicking store credit or gift card.
- Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Please note that if the value of the item being purchased online exceeds the value of the Black Sheep Wools Gift Card you must have a valid credit card or debit card.
- No refunds are available.
- Damaged, altered or cancelled cards will not be accepted.
Workshops and Events
Sometimes due to circumstances beyond our control workshops and events may be cancelled. We can't held liable for any travel costs incurred. If you cancel your place on the workshop within 48 hours of the event taking place, unfortunately you will still be charged.
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free.
Credit Card Security
When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
If you are not 100% happy with your purchase you have 28 days to apply for a full refund.

All returns are required to be accompanied with a covering letter and a copy of invoice or receipt.
Patterns & Pattern Books are NON Refundable
Any goods returned incomplete i.e. packaging missing, accessories missing etc. will not be replaced or credited.
Goods found to have been used will not be replaced or credited unless faulty.
A refund will be issued as soon as we receive the goods for the price paid for the item. We will provide a full refund of postage costs for a returned item if the return is a result of an error that the company has made or the goods are faulty.
We reserve the right to amend our terms and conditions of business at any time without prior notification.

Contracts for the purchase of Products through our site and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) will be governed by English law.
