Grundl Yarn

The Grundl yarn company has been in the same German family for three generations. Today, it is run by Peter and Martina, and their company ethos is a passion for wool. Grundl Flower Color comes in shades of burnt orange, brown mix and purple mix. The Grundl yarn knits up with flowers at various points in knitting it, so stunning garments can be knitted with this wool, acrylic and polyester blend.

Two balls of Grundl wool will make a medium long scarf; however, for a longer scarf use three balls of Grundl wool. The advantages of using polyester blended with wool are that polyester does not stain easily - it can be washed and it does not wrinkle. Grundl yarn which uses polyester and wool combines the best of both materials in terms of insulation, drape, softness and durability.
