We all have those pesky oddments of yarn hanging around – stashed at the bottom of a knitting bag or tucked up with your latest project. I always feel that they could be used creatively somewhere, some how? Last Christmas, when making amigurumi, I used some bits and pieces to stuff the tiny creations I had crocheted.

Heather, who works here in customer services, is making a giant granny square blanket with all of hers. Keep an eye out for more photos coming soon. She is currently on a mission joining the squares together to complete it!

Browsing Pinterest I came across some fab ideas! Although some of these projects may be a little trickier than others, they could be fun makes for over the school holidays too.
