All of our workshops are delivered in The Black Sheep Craft Barn and are run by professional Rowan Tutors.

Each course starts at 10.15am and finishes around 4.15pm and lunch is NOT provided.

This project based workshop teaches the basics of crochet including:

- How to hold hook and yarn
- Basic stitches,
- How to change colour
- How to work an edging

Participants are given ideas for future projects to help develop their new skills.

- Starting out right - your tension and using the correct cast-on for the project
- Shaping techniques
- Professional button holes and picked-up edges, bands, collars etc
- Short-row shaping and three-needle cast-off for shoulder seams
- Blocking and pressing
- Putting in sleeves
- Sewing up using mattress and back stitch.
